Founded in 2004, Estrin LegalEd, a Division of Estrin Professional Careers, Inc., is a Los Angeles-based training organization tailored to meet the needs of legal professionals.

We provide expert training to AmLaw 250 law firms, Fortune 500 & 1000 corporate legal departments, and governmental agencies. Our instructors offer expertise in several practice specialties: e-discovery, litigation, corporate compliance, transactional, intellectual property, real estate, ethics, and more.

About the People

Chere B. Estrin, Ph.D. — Founder and CEO of Estrin LegalEd, and creator of The Paralegal SuperConference, Ms. Estrin has been an executive for a Fortune 500 company, an administrator for two major law firms, and leader of four successful law-related businesses.

Chere has also written eight legal career books, including The Paralegal Career Guide (3rd ed.) and The Successful Paralegal’s Job Search Guide. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Resources Development and writes a career advice column for a prestigious legal magazine. Chere has been a featured speaker for the Association of Legal Administrators, the California State Bar, the International Paralegal Management Association, and the ABA, among other legal organizations.

She frequently appears on radio and TV and has been interviewed by Newsweek, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, Working Woman, The Daily Journal, The New York Times and other leading publications.

Allen S. Brody, Esq. — President and General Counsel of Estrin LegalEd, Mr. Brody has over 18 years’ experience as a lawyer and legal instructor. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University, Allen is admitted to California and Michigan state bars.

His background includes experience in a wide variety of legal practice areas, and positions as a name partner for a prestigious boutique law firm, in-house counsel for a Fortune 1000 company, and General Counsel to a $200-million corporation. He is also known for presenting energetic and memorable seminars.
